Ali Trumper, Yoga Instructor
I am a registered nurse and as part of my own personal toolbox to maintaining my wellness I have practiced yoga for 10 years.
Having personally experienced the benefits yoga can bring I made the decision to undertake a yoga teacher training course with a reputable training academy and qualified as a yoga teacher in 2021. This enabled me to register with one of only two UK recognised yoga
teacher registers: Yoga Alliance Professionals.

Yoga Sessions
My classes offer different approaches to yoga with the aim of offering people different options, days of classes and times to hopefully appeal to a wide range of people in and around Newport {Shropshire} and surrounding areas.
All classes are based on traditional ‘Hatha’ yoga where a variety of different individual poses are held for several breaths.
I also thread (yogic) breathwork, movement, mindfulness and a teeny bit of meditation across different classes. I also enjoy the anatomy of yoga, understanding how each pose can support the body.
My classes are varied to appeal to different people, of different ages both men and women and of course different bodies.
You will not be expected to do complex poses that are out of reach for most bodies, including mine!
Whichever class you attend yoga can have many benefits including increasing flexibility, particularly within the big muscle groups, increase muscle strength and endurance. Increase the range of motion around joints and improve balance.
Spiritually yoga can support those people who are looking to connect to oneself on a deeper level.
Mentally, yoga quietens the chattering mind.
I also offer Self Care Events and retreats throughout the year each offering particular themes.
